The Indigenous Center for Cumulative Effects (ICCE) is a not-for-profit Indigenous-led organization. Its goal is to create networks and share knowledge to support Inuit, First Nation and Métis communities in culturally relevant cumulative effects (CE) assessment, monitoring, and management. This effort aims to enhance Indigenous well-being and decision-making.
We are pleased to offer a scholarship for Inuit, First Nation and Métis students who are enrolled in Post-Secondary Education in relation to Cumulative Effects (eg. Guardians programming training, environmental studies, Indigenous studies, land use planning, GIS, Geography, Anthropology, technical training, land based community work, etc.).

The IEN/WMAN Mining Mini-Grants Program offers $4,000 USD financial grant assistance to non-profit grassroots communities threatened or adversely affected by mining in the U.S. and Canada. We recognize that mining activity has detrimental impacts to all aspects of community and cultural wellbeing and IEN-WMAN encourages projects that strive to protect the environment, ecosystems, cultural resources, and community health from mining impacts.

Apply for up to $30,000 for an Indigenous Youth-Led Project based in Ontario A youth-led group is defined as a project developed and led by at least two Indigenous young people, 35 years of age or under. We welcome the involvement of adult allies, community members, Elders, and knowledge keepers in supportive roles, as long as the project idea originates from and is led by Indigenous youth.
